Who is 4-H for?

  • NC 4-H is for youth ages 5-18.
  • Program age is determined as of Jan. 1st. each year.
  • Best of all, joining NC 4-H is FREE!

Why Should Youth Participate in 4-H?

4-H offers a hand-on learning approach to youth development. Youth gain important life skills, while experiencing belonging, mastery, generosity, and independence.

How to Get Involved?

Clubs/Groups

 4-H clubs/groups meet on a regular basis. Each 4-H Club designs their own schedule & 4-H Groups meet once a month to engage in age-appropriate, fun, hands-on educational activities.

Spin Clubs

Spin Clubs are special interest clubs that occur periodically through the year in shorter sessions than traditional 4-H clubs. These programs are used to increase youth knowledge about a specific topic/project.

Workshops/Events

Graham County 4-H strives to be an integral part of the community. Some workshops/events are specific to 4-H members/volunteers, while others are open to all youth in Graham County. Check out 4-H News/Events for event specific information.
