The 2025 grant cycle for WNC AgOptions will soon get underway. You can currently visit: wncagoptions.org to view a sample application, look at past grant winners, and learn how to apply.

In February 2024 the WNC Agricultural Options program awarded 29 farm businesses a total of $236,000 in grants to assist in farm diversification and expansion.

One of the farm businesses received $4,000 and 28 received $8,000. The N.C. Tobacco Trust Fund Commission is the financial supporter of WNC AgOptions, which aims to build sustainable farming communities in the mountain region by providing resources directly to farmers.
