N.C. Cooperative Extension staff in Graham County pitched in with an educational booth at the annual “Fall Math Fest” sponsored by the Robbinsville Elementary School.  The event is designed to spur students interest in math and to have a little fun in the process.  Extension staff offered a $25 Visa gift card to the student who could most closely estimate the weight of this Dill’s Atlantic Giant pumpkin.  Congratulations to our new 4-H’er Sebastian Lambert, who estimated the weight within a quarter of a pound!
