While many of you may be looking forward to the giant pumpkin contest at the Graham County Farmer’s Market on September 24; several local businesses are housing special pumpkins of their own.  The Graham Star, Lovin Equipment Sales Farm & Garden Center, Farm Bureau Insurance, Ford’s Auto Parts, United Community Bank, and First Citizens Bank invite you to stop by and guess the weight of the pumpkin located at their business.  Individuals guessing the closest to the actual weight of each pumpkin will be rewarded with a variety of cool prizes.  The prizes available are as follows:

LES Farm & Garden Center - $50

Farm Bureau Insurance - $50

Ford’s Auto Parts – 6 gallon VP fuel canister
