Thirteen individuals, both youth and adult, competed to see who could raise a truly giant, Graham County tomato. While all entries were impressive, congratulations go out to Raymond Norton and Caden Grant who won the adult and youth divisions respectively. Raymond’s “Big Zac” tomato weighed in at 2 pounds, 15.4 ounces, while Caden’s “Granny Cantrell” tomato came in at 2 pounds, 3 ounces. Each winner received $100. Thanks to all who participated, as well as Phillips 76 and N.C. Cooperative Extension of Graham County for donating the prize money.
