Graham County 4-H

Graham County 4-H is a youth development program that empowers young people to learn by doing. Through hands-on projects, club meetings, workshops, and community service, members build skills in agriculture, science, healthy living, leadership, and more. 4-H provides opportunities for youth ages 5–18 to explore their interests, develop responsibility, and grow as confident leaders. Whether raising animals, experimenting with STEM, creating art, or serving the community, 4-H members gain real-world skills and friendships that last a lifetime. Guided by caring adult volunteers & staff, Graham County 4-H is helping to grow the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

SPIN Clubs

Graham County 4-H Poultry Club (Runs March -September)

Graham County 4-H Poultry Club is a fun and educational club for youth who are interested in poultry farming. Members learn hands-on skills such as proper care, feeding, housing, and health management of their birds. Throughout the year, youth participate in showmanship clinic & compete in a local poultry show. Whether you are raising your first chick or already have a backyard flock, the 4-H Poultry Club is a great place to make friends, build knowledge, and prepare for poultry shows and competitions at the county and state level. Members can choose to complete a beginner friendly poultry rearing project.

4-H Stitch & Stir

Be on the lookout for hands on learning experiences from “4-H Stitch & Stir.” Series will blend creative arts & family consumer sciences in one fun program. Sessions will help youth learn practical skills in sewing, crafting, & cooking throughout the year! Whether creating mug cozy’s or whipping up a snack, youth will build confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills!

4-H Green & Growing

The 4-H Green & Growing series gives youth the chance to explore the world of farming, food production, and environmental stewardship through fun, hands-on learning. Each session dives into topics like livestock care, gardening, soil and water conservation, wildlife, and forestry. Participants gain practical skills, meet local experts, and take part in interactive activities that connect them to the land and natural resources in their community. Along the way, youth build leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while developing a greater appreciation for agriculture and the environment. Whether raising animals, growing plants, or exploring the outdoors, this series helps youth discover how agriculture and natural resources shape our everyday lives.

4-H Mission LIT

The 4-H Mission LIT series is an exciting, hands-on program designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in youth. Participants explore science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive projects, experiments, and problem-solving challenges. Alongside STEM skills, the series builds leadership abilities through teamwork, communication, decision-making, and community service opportunities. Each session blends fun, real-world learning with personal growth, preparing youth to be innovative thinkers and strong leaders in their schools and communities. Whether designing a robot, testing a science experiment, or leading a group project, participants will discover how STEM and leadership go hand-in-hand to shape the future.

Community Clubs

4-H Spurs & Burrs

The 4-H Spurs & Burrs Horse Club is a fun, educational group for youth who love horses and want to learn more about caring for, riding, and showing them. Members explore topics like horse health, nutrition, grooming, tack care, and safe riding practices, as well as participate in hands-on activities and skill-building clinics. The club also offers opportunities for trail rides, horse shows, and community service projects. Along the way, members develop leadership, responsibility, and teamwork skills while making new friends who share their passion for horses. Whether you own a horse or simply want to learn more about them, the Spurs & Burrs Horse Club is a great place to grow your knowledge and confidence around horses.

Each activity is designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and encourage creativity—while keeping learning fun. Whether trying something new for the first time or diving deeper into a favorite hobby, 4-H Summer Fun is the perfect way for youth to stay active, engaged, and inspired all summer long.
