On-Farm Produce Safety in the Age of COVID-19

In light of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, a number of growers have expressed concern about traditional practices that are core to a small grower’s business model. In an effort to understand where the highest risks lie with regards to small growers and their sale and distribution methods, MSU Extension and Conservation District Produce Safety Technicians are hosting, “On-farm Produce Safety for Small Growers in the Age of COVID-19” this Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at noon.

Our hope is that you will not only hear from Educators that can help frame the risks, but also hear from other growers who have grappled with these questions and have already made some adjustments share how they thought through their decisions.
