This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent and manage common pests and diseases encountered in the home garden.

Unlock your garden’s potential and explore soil health and it’s profound impact on your garden’s success.

This workshop will guide you through the essential steps of creating a successful gardening plan. We will cover a range of topics, from assessing your space to selecting the right plants and layout to maximize your space.

This course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to successfully harvest your garden produce and ensure its optimal quality and longevity. We will cover topics such as harvest timing, harvesting techniques and post-harvest handing to optimize the quality and freshness of your produce.

This lecture will delve into innovative methods for extending your growing season, giving you more time to savor your homegrown goodness.

This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of vegetable production practices providing you with in-depth knowledge of growth requirements, conventional production methods and sustainable practices.

Each workshop will start at 6:00 p.m. at the Graham County Extension Center located at 39 South Main Street. The cost of the program is $20 for those who sign up for the entire program or $5 per workshop. The cost includes all handouts and class materials.workshop flyer with description
